Thanks to all who joined us for the orienteering friendly at Ashton Court last Thursday.

I think Alastair’s GPS trace sums up the difficulty of finding the markers:) 

17 people in all took part, all staggered in pairs or solo to comply with outdoor exercise rules.

The format was simple, 2 hrs to find as many markers as possible, then stroll back to the start for a slice of cake. 

Winners in each (tongue in cheek) category. 

Mixed pair- Mike and Ruth

Women’s pair – Mollie and Emma

Mens pair – Nigel and Jamie

Soloist- Alastair

There are apparently other fixed courses at Blaise and Bradley Stoke so expect repeat events over the darker months.

The next event will involve more baking!
