Christmas Dinner

Unfortunately Tim Emmett who booked as the speaker for the AMC Annual Dinner has had to pull out. Apparently he's got married and moved to Chamonix for the winter. My apologies to all but you know what these superstars are like...
 
Anyway as a replacement we decided to stay local and have managed to book Steve Berry, the managing directory of Mountain Kingdoms (formerly Himalayan Kingdoms) to give a talk on his latest exploits provisionally entitled "Travels to Mount Kailash, Tibet". As well as managing Mountain Kingdoms Steve helps organise the highly successful Wilderness Lectures each year in Bristol (he's the one with the beard) and has been known to give the odd lecture or two for the Alpine Club at the Nova Scotia.
 
So despite Tim's absence (which means I'm less likely to be dragged out clubbing afterwards) the Annual Dinner promises to be a cracking night and I look forward to seeing you there,
